Creamy Oat & Banana Smoothie🥣
Ingredients:
- 1 Banana
- ½ Cup Oats
- 1 Tbsp Ground Flaxseed
- 1 Cup Milk (or plant-based)
- ½ tsp Honey,
- Ice
Method:
Chop the banana into quarters. Add to the blender. Add in 1/2 cup of oats, 1tbsp ground flaxseed, 1 cup milk (or plant-based), 1/2 tsp honey. Lastly add in a few ice cubes.
Blend until smooth.
Why it works for breastfeeding mothers: Oats and flaxseed are gentle galactagogues, energising and nourishing with minimal effort.
