Rainy Days, Caramel Tea & a Hint of Paris

It was one of those classic London days with grey skies, soft rain tapping on the windows, and the kind of chilled air that calls for something warm in your hands. A proper pause-the-world kind of afternoon.
So I made some tea. But not just any tea.
This one came with a generous dash of Monin Caramel Syrup, turning my everyday brew into something a little bit different. Something a little dreamy. Sweet, smooth, and indulgent. It was the kind of cup that made you sigh with the first sip. Comfort in liquid form.
Poured into my favourite spotty tea cup (because yes, the cup always matters!) The tea paired with small but thick slices of rich chocolate brownies, it was exactly what I needed for a ‘pick me up’. A quiet moment of stillness during a busy week. No rushing, no multitasking. Just me, the rain, and my caramel tea.
And just behind it all? That little tray of Parisian charm. The Eiffel Tower, vintage metro signs, and cobbled street dreams. It’s funny how something so small can shift your entire mood. Going from grey and gloomy to soft, warm, and a little bit je ne sais quoi.
That’s the thing about rainy days, they might end up slowing you down, in the best way. They invite you to light a fragranced candle, put the kettle on, and treat yourself to a moment that feels a little indulgent and special. A little luxury. Even if it’s just in your own kitchen, with fairy lights and a drizzle outside. These simple cups of tea help you to remember that the rainy days never last. No matter how big the storm is outside.
So here’s to caramel tea, rainy windows, and finding a little slice of joy right where you are.
